IMPACT Performing Arts has been running since 2006 under management by Kate Young. With 25 years experience in dance teaching, along with training at the Queensland Dance School of Excellence, and Brent Street Studios, Kate has a Diploma in Dance, Cert VI in Performing Arts and an Associate Teaching Diploma with the Australian Teachers of Dancing.  She has taught in some of Sydney’s most well know schools such as ‘Brent Street Studios’, ‘West Side Talent School’, & ‘Cool Kidz Song & Dance Company’ and also taught dance in NSW primary schools.  Together, our staff of industry professionals all have a goal to nurture the love of dance in every student and help them have a great time in the process!

From the age of 2.5yrs old, we offer students a fun and relaxed environment to study the art of dance starting with our Tiny Tots classes, and continuing into the genres of Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Acro, PBT and also Singing.

All Students have the opportunity to enter examinations and receive reports and achievement certificates each year. There are competitions and scholarships on both a state and national level in which our students are encouraged to participate. Private lessons are also available for one on one tuition and solo performance work.

IMPACT has its own ‘Production Group’ which is a select group of dedicated students at each age level who get the opportunity to perform at carnivals, fetes and many competitions throughout the year.

The highlight of the year is our exciting and professional annual concert. This not only gives all of the students an opportunity to perform for their family and friends, it also helps develop life skills such as self discipline, confidence and team work.
